Custom Cap Design

The customer came to us with a partially formed idea for a custom wheel cap and a general sense of the aesthetic they wanted to achieve. Using their initial sketches and descriptions as a starting point, we developed several CAD concepts that explored different shapes, proportions, and design details. Each concept was 3D printed in-house, allowing the customer to review physical samples and provide direct feedback on fit, feel, and overall appearance.

Through a series of iterative refinements—adjusting geometry, improving contours, and fine-tuning dimensional features—we arrived at the final design that met both functional requirements and the customer’s visual expectations. Once approved, the project moved into fabrication, where the finished part was machined to its final specifications, resulting in a high-quality, production-ready custom rim cap.
